Mordheim Madness!

Hey.

Its been a busy week. I ordered some new brushes. Da Vinci Maestro Miniatyrist (gonna report on these brushes once used them abit) and large paint set from Reaper. That contains 108 diffrent selfpicked colors. Also we had couple games of Mordheim last night. Continueing the campaing we started last time. Unfortunately I forgot to take camera with me (was too eager to play and didnt pack it with my bags). Not to worry Teugamo and Lonkero had theirs so this time Im Using mostly Teugamos pics for the report.

This is how we made the table this time. Used same on both games. Nothing new to add this time.

Lonkero had rough luck last time and this warband is brand new. Not to worry his rating is so low he is gonna get more experience on this round.

Here are my Pirates with some new faces :)

Teugamo took off the old paints and made new ones using armypainters dipping stuff. Simple and effective.
Here is the new stylish look of the Elfs.

On this game I was the attacker and hoped for a win to claim one hex of land. On first round move my posse up towards Shadow Warriors

We had made up scenario of 4 pieces of wyrdstones around the board and before each player turn you must make test with d6 and 6 would summon Giant and then scatter it a bit. Lonkero here rolls 6 and giant appears, hungry as usual.

Shadow Warriros move toward my Pirates and Looks like we are going clash soon.

Giant's scattering moves it into direct contact with troll and counts as charge. Fierce battle starts.

Teugamo's elfs are feeling like some target practice and start to do what they meant to do.

Lonkero fails two fear tests and not all his Warband get into combat.

Shadow Warriors shoot and retreats...I lose enough pirates to be forced to make rout test and fail it with double sixes.

In meanwhile Lonkero is having hard time with the Giant and battle seems to be going forever. Suprisingly he doesnt lose anyone as out of action.

Elfs cheer on the otherside and now moving towards Lonkero and the Giant.

Its brutal but greenskins hold their ground.

Finally they swarm it and cut it down :)

Elfs are closing in and soon pick their targets.

Couple of well placed shots and Lonkero chooses to flee. Damn elves didnt lose single warrior.

PART II

Pretty much same setup on second game.

Giant comes quite soon and this time its the elves who anger it.

Im trying to rush to the shadow warriors who are currently shoothing the giant in panic.

Lonkero has easy job collecting the wyrdstones.

Elfs backpedal and shoot hoping to score some wounds.

Lonkero advances from his table edge towards Elfs and collects the stones.

Finally Giant is on charge range and attacks

Lonkero has clear board to move.

Im closing in. Teugamo finishes the Giant with ease. Only losing his warband leader in the process.

Lonkero has still long way to go.

Elfs are preparing to make finalstand and manages to drop few pirates. Barney is once more like rabid dog and kills two elfs :)

Teugamo scores critical hit on barney but he is only knocked. Down to last wound never the less.

Somehow Lonkero waits...forever hiding behind the buildings before coming out in the open.

Pirates drop like flies but still press on the Shadow Warriors.

Barney gets up and first time im using blunderbuss. Screaming Sue blasts the hell out of 4 elves. one dead, one knocked and one stunned. His caster avoids the blast by hiding behind his fellows.

Teugamo is forced to flee and then, only then Lonkero comes behind buildings and charge my battered warband.

All is over in a hurry and I must flee :)

BYYYYÄÄÄÄÄRRRGGHHH!
Easy to spit vomit when you are the champion.

Didnt go so well for me. First game was lost and came in second on number two. Didnt get killing blow on Giant so lost the treasure both time :/ One of my new crew members died but over nothing I cant handle. Fun games!
