Cold One Knights 1 (edit1)

First test model from my upcoming Knights :)

Some new shots. Knight has some paint but lacking highlights.

Modified the hair with greenstuff since it was very flat :) now its much better.

Little update on unitwise. Messed the painted knights eyes and had to remove paints on his face :D

Made some modification on couple knights hair and some on helmets on backrow. They had open helmets and I used greenstuff to close them. I likem them better this way.

Slowly but surely more color creeps on the knights and their mighty beasts of the depths :D

 Evenings update on the knights. All predators have green base. All knights have some yellow and most preds also. Some bases need work next and then finishing cloths and chainmails before washes and detailed work.

New knight and old pred. Picking up some details. Still needs work :)

Tower of Inferno

Another gift. Assembled for paiting. Still missing few detail item that im adding later on. Cant say it was very fun to put together and doesnt look as firm as in cover of packet :D Might still need some filing and cutting to make pieces better fitting. Real tower of Inferno. Looks pretty good tho :)

Each level can be lifted up so this will be great for Mordheim.

Hello. Its been quite busy times before holidays. Been working lot of my Dark Elves. Reading Malus Darkblade novels gave me slight nugde to pick up the brush and what not. Here is some updates of the current process.


First the Witches. Going slowly but all models in back row has had little update.

Started this but still not sure color of the actual statue. Greenish seem bit off at the moment.

Cold Ones. Started them abit and now working base color and bases. One is still on the mail arriving soon I hope :)

First bunch of Reavers. They are The Krakens. Still missing 10 models from this.

Full 20 here and they are The Sea Serpents. Both units has special char as unit champion. Well thats it for now :D doesnt seem much but lot of effort has been made.

One more little update for tonight :) Here is Raging Heroes Blood Vestal and Gamezone Predator.
Size comparazion. Love these giant lizards :) Normal cold ones from gw feel like chickens compared to these beasts :) Also the metal is big deal. Adds some weight and feeling of awesomeness.

Base need still some work and the hair. Should be ready in few days at the least :D Hopefully rest come bit faster. Lovely model have to say. Looks pretty good even my painting skills :)

Im happy enough with this now. Painting rest of the unit and maybe come with some new ideas while doing that. Only 19 left, and the special character...

Blood vestals update2

Painted Blood Vestals first multipart phase. Skin is done. This has been quite slow process.

Now doing few tests about colors and stuff. Skin is still bit too reddish so putting more highlights tomorrow. Armour is going to be the usual yellow with maybe something more as details.

My order from Raging Heroes arrived today. That includes 20 Blood Vestals (5 command and 15 troop models) and also special character that can be used as Death Hag. These deadly ladies look very awesome! Im still waiting for my Predaror charriot and one knight from Waylands. They are from Gamezone  Miniatures. More pics when getting the unit of 10 together and the charriot. So much awesome stuff to paint im dazzled quite frankly :)

Hey all who reads :) I messed up the blog with using too large pics and turns out that my accout is full :D So that either left me three options. First: delete older posts. Second: edit pictures to be smaller and then edit posts. Or last to start new blog and not fuck up again. After trying to make second blog only to notice its bind to my account I said tear in my eyes."OK GOOGLE TAKE MY MONEY!".

Did some tryouts with basing my Dark Elves. Chose the theme to be rocky this time. Little more complext than most of my Skaven. Still basing seems to be hardest thing for me to get right and be happy with results.

First here is some pics of the process. On these shots Beastmasters are still black with only base started. While making the bases I found that the old color of the base wasnt quite right. So did few alteration for it.

On stage 2 is shot of crossbow warriors and Sorceress. They are still in lot of being remade. There are currently atleast 4 diffrent color warriors in the unit and they look like crap :D

Here is Sorceress and little more advanced Beastmasters and Hydra. Im going to use slightly darker shade on the rocks.

Lastly is blurry but good side view of the Hydra base.

Dark Elves War Hydra

Some pictures of the Hydra we got in our trip to London.  It was black in last game but now picking up color nicely.
